Project # 2025-2230

Honeybee Removal From 1800’s Church Wall

September 2025 – Rudolph, Ohio

Job Notes

Customer reported Honeybees entering through an exterior wall opening on an 1800’s built church. Thermal imaging was used to locate the colony beneath a window. We delicately cut an opening in the wall to remove & relocate the Honeybees to Fostoria, OH. #72 fluid ounces of honey was extracted and bottled. The customer was given #22 fluid ounces, the remaining #50 ounces has been added to The Honey Reserve™ and will be available for purchase online soon.

Hello Honeybees

During the inspection phase, The Mindful Beekeeper visited the honeybee colony on the exterior wall of the church. Foraging activity was high and the guard bees were unbothered by my presence.

The Colony

The colony was located within 2 wall channels beneath a window. Once the wall was opened alarm pheromones spread on the exterior, the guard bees were not happy.
