If honeybees have moved inside walls, ceilings, soffits, sheds, or other structural voids, this becomes a paid honeybee removal service due to the time, specialized tools, and repair work often required. For these jobs, we provide a careful, mindful quote before any work begins.

Since full structural removals are specialized and costly, we gladly offer free exterior swarm rescues throughout all of Henry County to support bee conservation and community safety.

Contact The Mindful Beekeeper whenever you see a swarm bearding outside in Henry County — whether near Napoleon (43545), Deshler (43516), Liberty Center (43532), Holgate (43527), Hamler (43524), McClure (43534), Malinta (43535), New Bavaria (43548), or any surrounding rural area. For bees inside your structure, expect a detailed assessment, clear communication, and pricing tailored to your specific situation — always done with respect for you, your home, and the honeybees.

Honeybee swarms usually form a calm, football-to-basketball-sized clump of bees hanging together. They are remarkably gentle when swarming. If they’re aggressive or in paper nests, they’re likely yellow jackets or bald-faced hornets — we don’t remove those.

That’s a structural cut-out or trap-out, not a swarm. These Henry County Bee Removal jobs require opening walls, removing honeycomb, and repairs, so they are a paid service. We’ll give you a clear, no-obligation quote first.

We try to respond same-day or next-day in almost all cases. The sooner you call, the easier it is to save the colony.

Yes — swarming honeybees have no hive to defend and are very docile. Leave them alone and call us; don’t spray them! If you are allergic, do not visit the area.

We relocate them to one of our healthy apiaries in northwest Ohio where they can continue pollinating farms and gardens.

No. We specialize only in honeybees. Bumblebees and carpenter bees are best left alone whenever possible.

As long as we can safely reach it with ladders or a bucket truck (usually up to ~30–35 ft), it’s still free. Extremely high swarms may require special equipment and could have a small fee.

Not always, but it helps. If you can’t be there, just send photos and exact location details and we’ll take care of it. YOU MUST SEND A PHOTO OF THE AREA WHERE THE BEES ARE & THE FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE. We will notify you when in route, and at the time of arrival. Please keep all pets and children out of the area.
